About this event

How will I benefit from attending this event?

Our seminars are designed as an opportunity for members of local boards to share experiences, to receive updates, to enhance their knowledge, and to discuss the key issues facing them and the LGPS in a professional but informal environment. As well as presentations, there are interactive sessions to facilitate discussion and networking as well as plenty of networking time during the refreshment breaks.

Speaker - Richard Lloyd-Bithell, Senior Technical Manager, CIPFA

Richard is senior technical manager within CIPFA’s Public Financial Management directorate, leading on public sector policy, standards and guidance, both in the UK and internationally. Richard has over nine years of public and private sector experience and formerly worked as a lead advisor on treasury management and pensions for CIPFA. He also worked in local government as a principal accountant, managing a treasury and technical accounting team, before joining CIPFA in 2019.
