Public Finance Live Scotland Awards 2025

CIPFA Scotland's Public Finance Awards recognise the people and services that demonstrate excellence and originality within the Scotland’s public finance sector.

The awards ceremony will be held during the dinner on the 2 September, in the Grand Hall, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. The awards reward public finance professionals at every level across all organisations in Scotland. They are aimed at those starting out in their career, to those innovating and leading the profession and provide an opportunity to celebrate success within the sector.

2025 nominations

The deadline for submissions is 14 August 2025.

Shortlisted nominees will be invited to attend the Public Finance Live Scotland 2025 conference dinner on 2 September, where the 2025 winners will be announced.

Future leader of the year (new for 2025)

This award recognises an individual in public finance and/or governance who can demonstrate that they have made an outstanding contribution early on in their career. This award will also acknowledge the achievements of the individual in delivering excellence and clear benefits in their own organisation, one or more other organisations in Scotland, or to the public finance profession, through working together efficiently and effectively.

The judges will be looking for someone who has displayed exceptional abilities and potential to excel in a leadership role. Entries are restricted to CIPFA students and applicants who have a maximum of 10 years’ experience in their public finance career regardless of age or prior career.
