Event summary

Brought to you by the CIPFA Student Network, this free, hour-long virtual event is open to all students to attend and is intended to give students some insight into where the CIPFA qualification can take them based on real life experiences. Three CIPFA PQ graduates will talk about their own personal progression through studying, their career pathway to date, and the sorts of challenges and opportunities they may have faced along the way. There will also be an opportunity for students to ask questions they may have for the panel towards the end of the session.

About this event

This session will take place via Microsoft Teams. The panel will consist of three speakers, each with a 15-minute slot, and the opportunity for attendees to ask questions at the end.

James Kidd is Chief Accountant in the South East region for Hertfordshire Constabulary

 

Carol McDonnell is an Audit Manager and Interim Chief Audit Executive in the North West region for St Helens Borough Council

 

Gareth Hunter is a School Business Manager in the North West region for Ravenscliffe High School and Sports College.
