This year's closedown workshops will cover the latest changes to the Code's requirements and current developments in relation to 2020/21 local authority financial reporting. They will also look at the findings from the Redmond Review and changes arising from the latest Code of Audit Practice, plus the accounting issues in relation to COVID-19. The key considerations for authorities in preparation for the introduction of IFRS 16 Leases will be covered, including updates on the latest consultation areas and the actions required ahead of transition.
