Resource management

This guidance has been developed primarily to assist chief audit executives (CAEs) in assessing and communicating the resources required to deliver a plan and provide sufficient evidence-based engagement conclusions and/or opinions to support the annual internal audit opinion. It may also be of interest to those who consider the audit plan, such as senior management and the audit committee, to help them understand the factors that are considered in determining the required resources.
